AGEHR/HMA Area Web Sites

Note: The Area 2 website was originally set up to include links through AGEHR using their new URL scheme
"area00.handbellmusicians.org". The service, however, only remained live for approximately 8 days of cutover
on October 3, 2011. On Tuesday, October 11, the new AGEHR servers routed ALL area urls using this scheme into
a "black hole" and presented a black screen to users instead of re-directing as originally planned.
On Friday, October 14, 2011, the servers failed completely and as of noon, October 20, are locking out
server access from all external calls worldwide, thus failing the re-direct. From Saturday, October 15th
through Thursday October 20, Area 2 ran third-party monitor tests on the AGEHR system and re-confirmed complete
failure.
Since this failure affected the integrity and performance of the Area 2 website, we have removed all link
routing through the AGEHR systems and have re-established direct routing from our system to all Areas due to
sever instability of the AGEHR servers. Note dated: 10/20/2011, 12:04pm

This page contains links to individual Area web sites denoted by the original AGEHR Roman Numeral scheme (e.g. Area I, Area II, etc).
Under the HMA scheme, Roman Numerals are replaced with Hindu-Arabic numerals (e.g. Area 1, Area 2, etc). The Area designations
have not been changed, so either scheme will work.
Placing your cursor over the map, you may click on the Roman numeral of the designated Area which will launch their
website in a separate window. When finished, "super-X" that window to close it.
Below the map is a table of the Area designations containing the associated States (US) and Provinces (CA) that are
currently alighned with that Area. Clicking on the Area title (e.g. Area VI or Area 7) will do the same launch of that
Area's website. If a state also has a link, then the associated link will take you to the website associated
with that state.
